As a teen, I suffered extensive sexual assault by my (then) boyfriend. Not knowing I was autistic, and having substantial difficulty processing both the experiences themselves, as well as my feelings in response, I remained in a relationship with my assailant for two years because I was unable to discern the abuse. I believe I bore inordinate internalized misogyny as a result of my excruciatingly conservative upbringing (i.e., purity culture), and this combined with my neurodivergence left me vulnerable to narcissistic abuse. Below you will find a collection of videos on this topic, which includes a deconstructive analysis of both my past experiences, as well as the beliefs and neuropsychology that impacted them.
